Personal, attentive, and with a refined sensibility. We, your hosts Karin and Franzi, are on-site and know the region. We are your go-to locals for honest insider tips and your direct travel planners for all kinds of activities. Share your interests with us, and we will take care of the planning.

EXPERIENCE
OUR HOUSE
WELL-BEING

Let Franzi guide you through our wine cellar. Join us in the lounge for homemade cheesecake and a cappuccino – and maybe stay on for an aperitivo with a rosemary grapefruit spritz. Terrace time, pool time, browsing books and magazines, playing a few notes on the piano… honestly, you might just want to stay right here.

SELF-CARE
TO RECHARGE
WELL-BEING

Not just relaxing, but consciously taking care of yourself – physically, mentally, and emotionally. Massages, energy treatments, private yoga or Pilates sessions, and fitness with a personal trainer. On request, we create a personalized program with professional coaches – designed around your own rhythm. No group classes, only workouts tailored to your desired intensity.

SCENIC
WALKS
WELL-BEING

Head out in your jogging outfit for a quick pre-breakfast workout or a long walk to Merano. The Waalweg above the Pergola Residence goes on almost endlessly, while the Tappeinerweg rewards you with stunning views. Want a climb? Then take the route via Thurnstein up to the historic Schloss Tirol.

HIGH ALTITUDE
HIKES
WELL-BEING

You don’t need a car for this. In minutes, the historic chairlift takes you to nearly 1,000 m, and if you’re not afraid of heights, the nostalgic gondola basket lift adds another 500 m. From there, you can hike to the Muthöfe, Mutspitze, or over steep ridges to the Spronser Lakes – South Tyrol’s largest high alpine lake group. Brave a jump into cold water or enjoy the view with a hearty Kaiserschmarrn?

POOLS
& LAKES
WELL-BEING

Enjoy both an indoor and an outdoor pool on site. For lap swimming, the Meran Arena is ideal, while the Therme Meran and the public pool in Dorf Tirol are perfect for a relaxed day out. For a more idyllic experience, explore Lake Caldaro, Lake Montiggler, or Felixer Weiher – there’s water fun for everyone.

EXPERIENCES
FOR KIDS
WELL-BEING

Movement and adventure in nature: watch the birds flight demonstrations in Dorf Tirol, climb high in the rope park, get close to animals on the Ultner Höfeweg, speed through the forest on the Alpine Bob, or test your accuracy at mini-golf. And pools? Always fun – and we have two of them.

FOOD
& FLAVOURS
CULINARY

Top-class restaurants, traditional inns, and mountain huts serving local cuisine: our PERGOLA Pocket Guides feature only places we truly love, and we’re happy to reserve the best tables for you. If you prefer staying in, explore our Bottega with high-quality local products or ask about our recommended delivery services.

WINE PRODUCERS
& WINE ESTATES
CULINARY

Visits and tastings at small family-run wineries, long-established producers, and renowned wine estates: discover the diversity of South Tyrol’s wine landscape. We’re also happy to recommend a new generation of winemakers who have been creatively reshaping the scene in recent years.

LOKAL FARMERS
& ARTISANS
CULINARY

From the finest ice cream and exquisite chocolate to the best sourdough bead, from first-class cheese specialties to traditional cured ham – discover exceptional regional products. Behind every creation are people who dedicate passion and craftsmanship to the highest quality standards.

EXPLORE
BY BIKE
ACTIVITIES

Through Merano into the Passeier Valley, to Aschbach, up to Vinschgau, or simply south – anything is possible! No bikes with you? No problem. Whether e-bike, road bike, or mountain bike, our partner Hike & Bike delivers them directly to the house, complete with suggested routes.

GOLF
WITH A VIEW
ACTIVITIES

In 15 minutes you can reach Golf Club Lana, nestled among vineyards and orchards. In the Passeier Valley, an 18-hole course awaits, surrounded by mountains and lily ponds, with programs for all levels. For a challenge, try “The Blue Monster” in Eppan – a 9-hole course with clever bunkers and varied layout.

TENNIS
& PADEL
ACTIVITIES

In Algund and Merano, there are plenty of tennis courts – and yes, the padel trend has arrived here too. You can rent equipment on-site or bring your own rackets. Fancy a relaxed match in the sun or an intense training session with a coach?

WILD
ADVENTURES
ACTIVITIES

For adrenaline lovers: tandem flights over the mountains, helicopter tours in the Dolomites, climbing, rafting on wild rivers, or canoe trips through idyllic nature – adventure awaits in every form, offering unforgettable moments high above the peaks, along rushing waters, and in the breathtaking landscapes of the region.

IN THE
SNOWY SEASON
ACTIVITIES

The Meran 2000 ski area is only 15 minutes from Algund, and from Haus Engadein, it’s 10 minutes to Rittner Horn – slopes for every level. Private ski lessons and equipment are available on-site. Skiing, sledding, cross-country skiing, ice skating, or simply walking through the snowy landscape and enjoying the crisp mountain air.

CULTURE
& FESTIVALS
LIFESTYLE

Ötzi is cool, but South Tyrol offers much more culture: the Messner Mountain Museums, the Kunsthaus in Merano, or the Museion in Bolzano. Seasonal highlights such as traditional cultural celebrations, the South Tyrol Jazz Festival, the Merano Music Weeks, or the street art festival Asfaltart are known far beyond the region. What’s on? What’s hot? Ask us – we know where it’s worth going.

STROLLING THROUGH
THE OLD TOWN
LIFESTYLE

Strolling through the small Italian towns and discovering Italian leather shoes – a small cliché that’s actually true. In Merano, Bolzano, and Bressanone, independent boutiques with carefully curated brands still exist. Looking for sustainable fashion? We have a guide for that too, thanks to dedicated local creatives.
